Time.

Wake up. Check my phone. Go to the bathroom. Check my phone. Get ready for work. Check my phone. Walk to my car. Check my phone. Drive to work. Check my phone. Sit down on my desk. Check my phone. Send an email. Check my phone. Slow day at work. Phone. Phone Phone. Walk back to my car. Check my phone. Drive home. Check my phone. Get home. Check my phone. Hang out with my family. Check my phone. Phone. Phone. Phone.

I’m writing this article to make myself more aware of the amount of time I waste of on my phone day in and day out and to help myself limit my usage and maybe it will help you realize you may also be wasting your time on something else.

Time is all we’ve got. Let’s use it wisely, whole-heartedly, actively, and in the present. The minutes we spend on our phones turn into hours of our day that can be used towards reading, writing, exercising, or simply something you enjoy. At the end of the day, you do you. Don’t let social media control you.

Have a beautiful, safe day.
